The Belgian Wout van Aert (Jumbo) pulled off a coup in the 4th stage of the Tour de France which he won alone on Tuesday July 5 in Calais. Wearing the yellow jersey, Van Aert went on the attack in the last 11 kilometers and consolidated his position at the top of the general classification. He was eight seconds ahead of the peloton, settled in the sprint by Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck) and Christophe Laporte (Jumbo-Visma).
