According to L’Équipe, Christophe Galtier has decided to remove the optional third year from his future contract at PSG and will therefore commit, at the beginning of next week, for two firm years.
While Mauricio Pochettino has reached an agreement with PSG around 10 M€, including staff, the Argentine coach will indeed be replaced by Christophe Galtier on the bench of the Parisian club.
According to RMC Sport, the 55-year-old French coach will join PSG on Monday, the date of the resumption of training, and will be presented to the press on Tuesday. A timing more or less confirmed by L’Équipe, which delivers a small detail about Galtier’s future contract with the Parisian club. While it was to be composed as follows: two years + an optional third year, the former coach of ASSE, Lille and Nice asked that this optional third year be removed from the contract.
In summary, Christophe Galtier will therefore sign a firm two-year contract with PSG, ie until 2024.
